Huawei is one of the largest companies in the world and feature among the Fortune 500 companies. Not only do they manufacture phones, but are widely regarded for their telecommunications equipment, PCs, routers, satellite equipment and mobile phone components including their own processors namely Kirin.

Huawei phones are known for their latest tech, great cameras, superb performance, and the best battery life. They are a highly innovative company and are well regarded for their R&D, cost-effectiveness and telecom-related technology.

However, due to some security concerns flagged by the former US President Donald Trump, Huawei has been banned from operating in the country on allegations of spying, working for the Chinese government, stealing trade secrets from other US companies, secretly supporting Iran and many other ongoing accusations.

Due to all the allegations, the US government has put a hold on Huawei to sell its products. However, they have found a clever loophole to continue their operations around the world especially where their products are banned.

Huawei owns and operates a sub-brand namely Honor which is not banned by the US. Huawei has flouted Honor as an independent company with no ties with Huawei and is continuing their operations all over the world under the Honor banner. It may be noted that the US government is also considering banning the Honor sub-brand since it belongs to the parent company Huawei.

Only time will tell the fate of Huawei and its Honor! But till then, lets refrain from buying any such product that may violate our privacy or the rule of the land.
